Steve Jobs confirms rumors - Apple transition to Intel CPUs
San Jose (CA) - PowerPC-based Apple systems have been crushing
Pentium-based computers in terms of performance for years, at least if we
believe Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Now it appears that the PowerPC CPU was not
enough anymore, as Jobs confirmed a complete switch to Intel CPUs by June
2007.

Windows Command Line to be overhauled

Server OS will be changed to the new Monad Shell (MSH), in a phased implementation
to take place over the next three to five years. This confirmation comes

Intel's Yonah dual-core processor to get 'Smart Cache'
Santa Clara (CA) - Intel provided several updates about
its first mobile dual-core processor "Yonah". The chip, scheduled to enter
production late in 2005, will be equipped with 2 MByte shared L2 cache,
